Welcome to our new web site! We are pleased and fortunate to have Andrew Witek of Judson University revamping our old outdated window to the world. Andrew has volunteered at the Jones Center for many years, but wanted to do more. We are glad that he chose the website project. We thank Andrew and Judson University for giving the Jones Center a new face.

Please Note: This project is far from completion, but after seeing what Andrew has done, we wanted to share it with you. Please come back often to see the changes on the site and at the Jones Center. We realize our mission cannot be accomplished without you!

The Harold Colbert Jones Memorial Community Center is unique for its presence in the South Suburban Cook County community of Chicago Heights. Located on the “east side,” it is outstanding in its 90+ years of service to a broad and diverse population. The Center is not only committed to its neighborhood, it is committed to its original intention to improve the physical and economic well-being and spirit of all.

While located in Chicago Heights, the service area of Jones Center has few defined boundaries and responds to the needs of anyone who requests them. True to its origins in the Presbyterian Church, the Center has many activities and programs for all age groups and continues to express high principles and provide practical services to strengthen family ties, to emphasize the worth of all persons and to answer a community need.
